Resources

Dear Tollgate Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your partnership throughout the 2018-2019 school year. We are so proud of our students for the growth they have shown. Now it is time for students and staff to take a break, to relax, replenish and get ready for the 2019-2020 school year. We will be beginning school earlier next year to better align with the Aurora Public Schools conventional calendar. Kindergarten students will begin on Wednesday, August 7th, followed by our Back-to-School / School Supply Drop-off night that evening. All other students will begin on Thursday, August 8th. There will be a few additional phone calls about logistics for the beginning of the year near the end of July into August. Our office hours will be closed from June 11-July 14, but we will be available all other days to serve your needs.

Thanks to Aurora voters who passed the 2018 mill levy override, Aurora Public Schools is expanding after-school programming for K-5 students. We are excited to partner with Rocky Mountain Kids to serve up to 120 students for the 2019-20 school year. That is 60 more students than last year!

Our partnership with Rocky Mountain Kids is a great opportunity for your child to build relationships with peers and after-school skill building. We have been working alongside Rocky Mountain Kids to bring reliable, high-quality, and affordable after-school care to the Tollgate community.

If you are interested in registering your child for this 2019-20 after-school program, please follow the steps below.

Registration is now open. The enrollment process will be on a “first come, first serve” basis. Additionally, there will be up to 60 scholarships available at little to no cost for families. Rocky Mountain Kids will take into consideration family needs when awarding scholarships. Please contact Rocky Mountain Kids or Tollgate for more information. To enroll, go to rockymtnkids.com and select Tollgate Elementary.

We look forward to providing a safe learning environment for your child to continue to flourish.

Thank you,

Joseph Longbottom
