Paige Ozegovic: Speech-Language Pathologist
Paige was born and raised in Decatur, Illinois. She attended Elmhurst College, where she played volleyball, earned her Bachelor of Art in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD), and later attended Governors State University where she earned a Master of Health Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Paige began working as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in Chicago, Illinois at District 54 Early Learning Center and continued in Nashville, Tennessee, at Walnut Grove Elementary School. She currently lives in Westminster, Colorado with her husband, Stojan, and two kittens, Pička and Winston. Paige loves being a part of the incredible CREW of educators and administrators at Tollgate Elementary School and Fletcher Community School in Aurora Public Schools. Outside of school, Paige loves to cook, spend time with her family and friends, and immerse herself in Nature. She especially enjoys hiking, camping, and rock climbing.
Peter Leypold: Occupational Therapist
Raised in Miami, FL Peter graduated with his Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida. Peter has worked as an OT for 4 years, working primarily a mixture of Children's Hospital and outpatient clinics prior to moving to Colorado. This is Peter's second year in the district and enjoys playing and working with children with special needs. Outside of work, Peter spends much of his time mountain biking, camping, and watching Miami Dolphins and Florida Gators football!
Nicole Johnson: Social Worker
Nicole is a born and raised Colorado Native. She attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins for her Bachelor's Degree in Social work. She attended the University of Denver for her Master's Degree in Social Work. Nicole has been a school social worker for Aurora Publics schools for the past five years. She has been at Tollgate all five of those years while also spending time on the district's Behavior, Evaluation and Support Team. Nicole loves helping students at Tollgate as well as working alongside our incredibly talented and dedicated staff. Outside of school, Nicole loves to root on the BRONCOS and spend time with her family, including her husband and two cats, Champ Bailey and Von Meower.
Brianna Andrade: Speech-Language Pathologist
Brianna was born in Texas, but raised in Conway, Arkansas. She moved to Missouri for undergrad and grad school. Brianna has lived all over the country the past several years (Massachusetts, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Wyoming, Connecticut). So far Colorado is her favorite! Brianna completed her undergrad at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. She has a Master of Health Science in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Missouri and a Master of Education in Foundations in Behavior Analysis from the University of Cincinnati. She has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 5 years and has worked in private clinics, private schools for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and various public schools (elementary, middle, and high school, but her passion is elementary). Brianna loves the people and students at Tollgate! Next year, she will be the Speech-Language Pathologist solely for the Autism Program. Autism is her passion and she is very excited! Outside of school, Brianna loves to travel! She travels to a new country every year and around the US multiple times per year! She enjoys meeting new people and learning about different cultures!
Dr. Philip W Keesee ND, MSAc, BSN, RN: District Nurse
Philip graduated from Florida International University, Miami, FL with a Baccalaureate in Nursing in 1985. In 1993 Philip received a Masters of Science in Acupuncture, a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, Seattle, WA. He worked in a variety of hospital nursing positions in Miami, Boston, Seattle, Hawaii, and Colorado for 26 years including Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Interventional Cardiology, and Pre and Post-op Surgery. Philip started working for Aurora Public Schools as a site-based school nurse at East Middle School in 2006 to 2011. He began working as an itinerant school nurse in 2011 to present working with Sixth Avenue, Lyn Knoll, Peoria, Virginia Court, and Tollgate Elementary Schools.
