Sydni Young
4th Grade

Sydni was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she played soccer all 4 years, and received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After beginning her teaching career in Kansas City, Sydni made the jump to move to Colorado in the summer of 2020. Although the Midwest will always feel like home, Sydni has loved every second of living here in Colorado - the outdoor opportunities, the people, and more! In her free time, Sydni enjoys keeping active by continuing to play soccer and hiking, reading, and finding new coffee spots. She loves working at Tollgate due to the collective mindset of those around her to work towards the growth of a student not only academically, but social-emotionally as well. She believes Tollgates views students through a "whole child" mindset, which is key in their journey of lifelong learning.
