Arrival & Dismissal Procedures

Thank you for helping us create a safe, efficient arrival and dismissal for all students. By following these procedures, you help ensure every child begins and ends the school day safely.

☀️Morning Drop Off

Arrival Time

  • School doors open at 7:25am
  • Students should arrive between 7:25-7:40am
  • Students arriving after 7:45am must check in through the main office

Breakfast

Grab-and-go breakfast is available for all students upon arrival.

🚘Family Drop Off

  • ✅ Pull forward as far as possible.
  • ✅ Remain in your vehicle.
  • ✅ Students should exit on the passenger side whenever possible.
  • ✅ Follow staff directions.
  • 🚫 Please do not park or leave your vehicle in the drop-off lane.
  • 🚫 The outside lane is for through traffic only.

🏁Afternoon Pick Up

Dismissal Time

  • Dismissal is at 2:30pm each day
  • Students remain with their class until released by a staff member

🚘Family Pick Up

Students are dismissed from the basketball court (Intermediate Playground). For everyone's safety, students may not play on the playground after dismissal.

Please:

  • Display your family name card.
  • Wait for staff to release your child.
  • Drive slowly.
  • Follow staff directions.
  • Have students walk directly to your vehicle.

🚌 Bus & After-School Programs

Students riding the bus or attending Innovation Learning will be escorted to their assigned location by school staff.

⏰ Late Pick-Up

Students not picked up by 2:45pm will be escorted to the front office while staff contact their family. If you know you will be delayed, please call the office as soon as possible.

Safety Reminders

For the safety of everyone:

  • Use designated crosswalks.
  • Follow all posted traffic signs.
  • Drive slowly through school zones.
  • Please be patient during the first few weeks of school.
  • Follow directions from staff members. They are there to keep everyone safe!

Important information on the map:

  • Grades 3-5 entrance for Breakfast in the Classroom is in the southwest corner of the building
  • Grades K-2 entrance for Breakfast in the Classroom is on the north side of the building.
  • Student Drop-off lane is directly in front of the main entrance to the school. Driver must remain in vehicle.
  • Student Pick-up lane curves around to just before the entrance to the school. Driver must remain in vehicle.
  • Thru Lane is adjacent to the Pick-up lane. No Pick-up or Drop-off allowed here. 
  • Buses only are allowed to drive up and around the southeast parking lot.
  • Parking is allowed in the main east parking lot.
  • Parking is allowed on the west side of S. Kalispell Way and on E. Exposition Dr. 
  • Parking is not allowed in the S. Kalispell Way cul de sac on the east side of the street.
